This film takes us to a dreamlike place, while its soundtrack completes the magical atmosphere surrounding these exceptional climbers. Set in Chamonix, a valley steeped in the history of high-altitude alpinism, the film follows Ashima Shiraishi, Clément Lechaptois and Jim Pope as they develop a new alpine bouldering zone high above the valley floor.

Rather than chasing raw performance, their process becomes an exercise in slow, attentive movement. As climate change reshapes the Alps, this humble approach to the stone offers a way to listen, adapt, and reconnect with a changing landscape. The film’s creative vision extends across every aspect of its production, from the imagery and pacing to its immersive sound design.
