Yemeni-American photographer and artist Yumna Al-Arashi was born in Washington D.C. and currently lives in Zurich, Switzerland. While mainly working with photography, Yumna has also explored the mediums of film, writing and installation. Her work revolves around topics of human rights, feminism, and the perception of the middle eastern woman in the diaspora. When creating in the commercial sector, Yumna excels at combining the clients vision with her own personal twist.
